LAHORE, Sept 10: Two minor girls were killed and seven other children injured in three incidents of house collapse in the city on Tuesday.

Rescue 1122 said eightyear-old Samreen was killed and her younger sister injured when roof of their dilapidated house collapsed near Shahdara Mor.

In another incident, 14year-old Iqra died instantly and her sister Sonia suffered multiple injuries when roof of their house collapsed on Kamahan Road near Chungi Amar Sidhu.

Five children were trapped under the debris when roof of a mosque collapsed in Township. Rescue 1122 teams rushed to the spot and shifted the children to hospital where they were said to be stable.
