MIANWALI: A prep class student at a state-run school of Bhakkar suffered burns when boiling water fell on him on Thursday.

The teachers of the Government Primary Girls School of Shaheenabad Jandanwala have set up a kitchenette in the institute. Some students boiled eggs for their teacher and were carrying the pan towards her when Muhammad Munib, 5, bumped into them and the boiling water fell on him.

The burnt child was taken to the THQ Hospital, where doctors said he had 25pc burns and was out of danger.

According to police sources, Khushi Muhammad filed an application saying his five-year-old son Muhammad Munib suffered burn injuries at school and demanded action against teachers.
