Schoolgirl assaulted, blackmailed

SIALKOT: A schoolgirl was gangraped and blackmailed by three suspects for five months in Daska city.

According to the FIR, two suspects kidnapped the victim, a 9th class student in a local government school, on April 7 from near her school. They criminally assaulted her at gunpoint and made her video clips before letting her go.

Later, they started blackmailingher with threats of uploading her video clips on social media. Along with a third suspect, they kept raping the girl at different times. They also took Rsim from her besides getting 20 tola gold ornaments.

At the end, the victim had to tell her family about her ordeal.

On the report of her grandfather, the Daska City police registered a case againstthree suspects.

ABDUCT ED: Two armed suspects allegedly kidnapped a 19-year-old girl, identified as Safia Bibi, from her house in Daska Kalan.The police have registered a case with no arrest.

STAMP PAPERS: Vendors have created an artificial shortage of stamp papers, amounting Rs20 and Rs100, in courts of Sialkot, Daska, Sambrial and Pasrur tehsils.

Due to the shortage, the authorised venders are selling stamp papers of other denominations on inflated rates of Rs150 and Rs270 per paper.

The people urged Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Tahir Wattoo to look into the matter.
