Terrorists killed by own bomb in Karachi

KARACHI, Oct 10: Three suspected suicide bombers were killed in Manghopir area of the city on Thursday when explosives they were purportedly carrying went off `accidentally` According to police, the men on two motorcycles were carrying an improvised explosive device when it went off on a road in the MPR Colony near a ground where a religious congregation was to be held.

West Karachi SSP Irfan Baloch said that three bodies, one of them mutilated, had been found. Both the bikes were destroyed.

The official said police believed that the device had been set off accidentally by a remote control. He said two of the deceased had been identifled from their CNICs found in their pockets as Rafiullah and Asmatullah of Qila Abdullah.
