Minor runaway brothers reunited with family

MIANWALI: Three minor brothers, of the Borh Khoi locality of Kalabagh, missing since Sunday morning, were reunited with their family by the Chughlan check post patrolling team which found them in the hilly terrain of Lunda Mor Shakardara late on Sunday.

Police officials said the team was on routine patrolling in the Lunda Mor Shakardara areas along the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa point.

Patrolling check post in charge Motiur Rehman said they found the three children roaming in other-wise deserted mountains, which alarmed them. They intercepted and brought them to the post for questioning.

The children,identined as Imtenan Khan (12), Waleed Khan (9) and Khalid Khan (7), told police officials they were the sons of Khalid Khan, of Borh Khoi. They had left home after harsh and frequent beating at school.

The police of ficer traced the family and handed over the children to their uncles Mohammad Hayat Khan and Mohsin Khan.

The family said they had been searching the boys in surrounding localities since morning, fearing that kidnappers might have struck them.
