LAHORE: The Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) on Tuesday announced results of Intermediate Part-1 (Class XI) annual examinations 2017.

As many as 148,502 students sat the exam out of which 81,396 were declared successful. Overall pass percentage remained 54.81.

Lahore Board Chairman Prof Chaudhry Muhammad Ismail said all the results were available on the official website, adding that he had directed the authorities to deal with students` issues effectively and ensure they did not face any difficulty.

He said it was their responsibility to effectively manage and announce the results on time.

Examinations Controller Prof Nasir Jameel and others were also present on the occasion.
