GWADAR: An official of the New Town Housing Scheme, Gwadar, was gunned down on Wednesday night, police said.

Zubair Siddig, an assistant at the housing scheme, was fired upon in front of his home in the township.

He was taken to the district hospital where doctors pronounced him dead.

The deceased was the nephew of a former nazim of Gwadar tehsil, Haji Hameed.
