LPG crisis in winter

2017-12-11
THE dealers of liquefied petroleum gas( LPG) are taking advantage of a gas crisis by fleecing the hapless public now that winter has arrived.

They are selling a kilogram of LPG at Rs140 to Rs150 openly, 15kg of LPG cylinders for Rs2,000,11kg cylinders for Rdl,600 and empty gas cylinders for Rs5,000. But still the government hasn`t registered a single FIR against them.

According to a report, people who belong to the lower and the middle class of society are looking for cheaper cylinders, which may prove dangerous for them. The government should take notice of this crisis confronting the citizens.
