TAXILA: Two persons died in dif ferent incidents in Taxila and Hassanabdal police areas on Monday.

A grade 10 student, Waleed Abdullah, took his life by hanging himself in Mohallah Makran in Taxila police area over some domestic issue, police sources said.

In another incident, a man beat his brother to death over a land dispute in Hassanabdal police area and managed to escape.

Police handed over dead bodies to respective families after autopsy and registration of cases.

Meanwhile, robbers have looted millions of rupees from three different business outlets besides shooting and injuring a man on resistance near New City in Wah Saddar police area.

Five armed robbers first stormed into an aluminum wholesale dealer and snatched Rs500,000 at gun point. Later they strucl( at a wedding hall a few yards away and took away Rs1,000,000 at gun point.

Here they opened fire on a man on resistance, critically injuring him.

In a separate incident, three young men forcefully entered into the office of Irshad and made him hostage and snatched cash wor th R s60,000 and escaped.
