KARACHI: The PakistanInternationalAirlines (PIA) has warned its pilots and cabin crew of strict action if they are found intoxicated during duty time.

`Even smoking [while on duty] is not allowed, said PIA`s spokesperson Mashhood Tajwar on Friday. Those found violating the rules could f ace suspension or termination of services, he added.

The warning came against the backdrop of an incident in which a steward was found to have consumed alcohol before a Lahore-bound flight a couple of days ago.-Staf f Reporter
