KARACHI: Mr Wang Wan-lin, Deputy Commander of the Navy of the Chinese People`s Liberation Army, said in Karachi last night [Jan 11] that `like the peoples of the two countries there also exists a profound friendship between our two Navies`, says an ISPR Press release. Mr Wang Wan-lin said that with the development of relations between Pakistan and China, the friendly cooperation between the Armed Forces and Navies of the two countries would `certainly be further developed and consolidated`.

Mr Wang Wan-lin was speaking at a dinner hosted in honour of the ... members of the visiting Chinese military friendly delegation by the Chief of the Naval Staff, Vice-Admiral H.

Speaking about the progress made by the Pakistan Navy Mr Wang Wan-lin expressed his immense satisfaction over the achievements of the Pakistan Navy under the leadership of Prime Minister Z. A. Bhutto, adding that as close friends `we are really happy with your achievements.` ... Vice-Admiral H.

H. Ahmad said that after crossing the Karakorum and travelling through the plains of Pakistan the distinguished guests had reached the warm waters of the Arabian Sea.
