LAHORE: Two women reportedly died by suicide in separate incidents on Saturday.

In the first case, Shaista, 25, of Nishtar Colony, consumed acid following family disputes. She was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to her injuries.

In the second case, Shamim, 50, of Shafiqabad, reportedly jumped from the second noor of her house after conflicts with her family. She was critically injured and later died at a nearby hospital.

Police have shifted both bodies to the morgue for autopsy. Staff Reporter
