TOBA TEK SINGH: A 12-year-old boy was electrocuted while trying to catch a kite here on Sunday in Iqbalnagar locality of Faisalabad in Batala Colony police precincts.

Reports said Adnan touched a live wire on the rooftop of his house in a bid to catch a torn kite entangled with a pipe and was electrocuted. When contacted, Faisalabad police spokesman Malik Shahid said CPO retired Capt Muhammad Ali Zia had sought a report from the Iqbal Town SP and issued a show-cause notice to the station house officer. —Correspondent
