`Caretakers managed overseas jobs for 600 youth`

ISLAMABAD: The caretaker government managed to find employment for 600 youth abroad as a result of negotiations and agreements recently signed with international partners.

A statement issued by the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development said this was a significant milestone initiated by the ministry, underscoring Pakistan`s commitment to enhancing global employment opportunities for its worl(force.

`The initiative, under the guidance of Jawad Sohrab Malik, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, has seen the fruition of agreements signed merely 90 days ago.

These youth departed from major cities, including Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore and Peshawar, for their countries of employment on Sunday. Mr Malil( saw off Islamabad`s contingent.

A statement said the initial batch of 600 professionals marl(s just the beginning. This figure is set to rise substantially as global employers continue to conduct interviews and select candidates on a daily basis, it claims.
