Minor brothers, widow raped in two incidents

NAROWAL: Sialkot police claimed on Tuesday to have arrested two suspects, one of them for sexually assaulting two minor brother and the other for allegedly raping a widow, in separate cases.
In the first incident, Ghulam Murtaza, a resident of Raipur Awan village in Sialkot district complained to the police that the suspect `H`, sexually assaulted two minor sons of his sister by trespassing her house.
He said the 12 and eightyear-old children were playing on the roof of their house at Ahmed Nagar Bonga village in Sialkot, when the suspect barged in and sexually assaulted both. He said the children revealed that the suspect had been subjecting them to sexual assaults in the past as well.
The police registered an FIR under section 376 iii of PPC against the suspect, who went into hiding.
As per a police spokesman, Sialkot District Police Officer Faisal Shahzad took notice of the incident and formed a team headed by a deputy superintendent of police for immediate arrest ofthe suspect.
He claimed that the police team traced and arrested the suspect within 48 hours with the help of human intelligence and advanced technology.
TheDPOhasannounced cash prizes and commendation certificates for the members of the police investigation and raiding teams for immediate arrest of the suspect.
In the other incident, complainant Ghulam Abbas, of Mandiki Goraiya village of Daska tehsil, said in his complaint that his sister `S` is a widow and a mother of five children.
He said one of his relatives `B` raped `S` when she was alone in her house.
On the orders of the DPO, a team of Sialkot Saddar police arrested the fleeing suspect, using human intelligence and advanced technology and registered an FIR against him.
The police spokesman said the investigation team was collecting DNA samples and awaiting medical examination reports of the victim and the suspect, after which the case challan would be submitted in the court. Correspondent
