MUZAFFARABAD: The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly condemned on Tuesday the expulsion of Kashmiri students from Indian universities for cheering the Pakistani team during the recent Asia Cup matches.

The assembly, which met with deputy speaker Shaheen Kausar Dar in the chair, made it clear that such tactics could not even dilute the undying relationship of love and brotherhood between the Kashmiris and Pakistan, let alone put it to an end.

It had taken up five resolutions, three of which reflected the anger of Kashmiris on this side ofthe divide at India`s `double dealings and hostilities towards the people of occupied Kashmir` The resolutions, tabled by lawmakers from both sides of the aisle, condemned incessant atrocities in the India-held territory and paid tributes to valiant Kashmiris for braving them without any let-up in their determination for freedom.

Through one resolution, AJK`s former president K.H. Khurshid was eulogised for his services to the freedom movement as well as introduction and promotion of democracy in AJK.

Another resolution condemned the killings of 23 FC personnel and the terrorist attack on Islamabad district courts.
