T HIS refers to Fahim Khan`s letter `Nadra blues` (Marc 8). The interior minister has taken notice of the issue being faced by the citizen in renewal of his Nicop, especially the inconvenience caused by a misleading email erroneously sent to the applicant by a Nadra official.

Immediate explanation has been sought from the Nadra official concerned. We regrettheinconvenience caused to the applicant. Relevant persons have been directed to get in touch with the applicant and redress the issue, besides tendering an apology for the error.
