LAHORE: The Punjab School Education Department (SED) on Monday issued timings for government schools during Ramazan.

According to a notification by the department, schools functioning in single shifts will commence classes at 8:30am and conclude at 1pm from Monday to Thursday. The classes would conclude at 12noon on Friday.

In the double-shift school, morning shift classes will be held from 8:30am to 12:30pm. The afternoon shift will commence at 1pm to end at 4:30pm from Monday to Thursday.

The classes will be held from 2pm to 5pm on Friday.

PHEC: The working hours of the offices of the Punjab Higher Education Commission will be from 9am to 3pm, while the office hours on Friday will be from 9am to 12:30pm. — Staff Reporter
