LAHORE, April 11: Results of the annual intermediate examination 2012 will be compiled simultaneously on manual and online systems to purge the set-up of any malpractices.

A decision to the effect was taken during a meeting of the Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education governing body, presided over by its chairman, Nasrullah Virk, on Wednesday.

In the light of the directions of the judicial commission and the Punjab government, the results will be announced after comparison of manual and online data.

The governing body was of the consensus that online system was necessary to keep pace with other states in the educational system.

The meeting was informed that in order to make the online system error-free, collaboration of the BISE with the Punjab Information Technology Board was under way.
