LAHORE: The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf and Pakistan Awami Tehreek have condemned the killing of 20 labourers in Balochistan and said it seems both the federal and provincial governments have handed over the province to terrorists.

He said Turbat was the hometown of Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Malik Baloch but the tragic incident spoke volumes about the security situation in Balochistan. He said the chief minister instead of resolving the conflict between his party and PML-N should focus on law and order situation in Balochistan.
He said the government must engage all disgruntled Baloch leaders and get them bacl< in the system for longterm solution to the problem.
The party`s provincial secretary general, Dr Yasmin Rashid, said the Balochistan government could not fulfil its promises regarding improvement in law and order. She said such incidents kept happening regu-larly `but no one is ready to take the responsibility.
She said if India was involved in insurgency in Balochistan then the prime minister should take up the matter with New Delhi.
PTI Punjab Information Secretary Andleeb Abbas said unless the historical injustice was rectified and the legitimate aspirations of the Baloch people were met, the ongoing security situation in Balochistan was bound to assume an alarming proportion.
She said if the government was serious and wanted peace in Balochistan then it should create jobs and invest more in Balochistan.
PAT President Dr. Raheeg Ahmed Abbasi said Balochistan had been handed over to terrorists. He demanded immediate arrest of the culprits and the case be tried in a military court.
He said the rulers were busy in laptop and metro bus schemes and were not concentrating on the National Action Plan.
He expressed his surprise that even after the passing of three months not a single military court had been made functional in Balochistan.
Dr. Raheeg alleged that the major cities of Punjab, especially Lahore, had become a hiding place for terrorists. He alleged that terrorists were among all the ranks of Punjab police and they had the information regarding the hiding places of other terrorists.
