I TRAVELLED from Karachi to Lahore on March 4 by a private sector airline that started operations last year. The flight number was ER 522.
During the flight I was alarmed when I found out that there was no life jacket under my seat though the sticker on the bacl( of the tray indicated that there was a life jacket below the seat. I lodged a complaint with the crew and in response received a generic message on my cell from the airline stating `thank you for the feedback, we have received your reviews and we would like to see you again.
I travelled again on the same airline on April 7 on flight ER 524 and noted again that there was no life jacket under the seat.
This time the passengers sitting on adjacent seats also mentioned to me that there were no life jackets under their seats as well.
I have again lodged complaints with the airline, and I also request the Civil Aviation Authority and other officials to take note of this serious lapse in safety.
