QUETTA: Balochistan Governor Jaffar Khan Mandokhail has said that in view of the prevailing tense situation and growing political and economic challenges in the region, the guidance and cooperation of Balochistan`s seasoned politicians and respected religious figures is more essential than ever.

The governorexpressed these views during a meeting with JUI-F Secretary General, Senator Maulana Ghafoor Haideri at the Governor House on Friday.

The governor emphasised the pivotal role played by Balochistan`s senior political leaders and religious scholars in navigatingpast crises and said they consistently promoted political engagement, launched collective movements for provincial rights and offered viable political solutions to emerging challenges.

`Through mutual understanding and awareness of each other`s difficulties, we can move towards lasting solutions,` the governor said and stressed the urgency of taking concrete steps in the interest of the province and the country, especially considering the escalating tensions in the region.

`We cannot afford further hatred and conflict, the governor warned.
