DADU: A woman gave birth to triplets after a successful C-section operation at Mother and Child Health Center in Phakka locality here on Friday.

Ms Fatima wife of Naimatullah Bhutto, who came from Belo Patan village near Khanpur Junejo, was turned away from many hospitals before being admitted to the Phakka healthcare facility, said Dr Salma Jamali, who supervised the operation.

Pediatric specialist Dr Sidra Bhurgari said that all the newborns were in normal and stable condition.

The mother, who also suffered from a kidney-related ailment, was doing well post-operation, said Dr Jamali.—Correspondent
