Two girls who bunk off school recovered

GUJRAT: Police on Wednesday claimed to have recovered two teenaged girls from Faisalabad within 24 hours after they went missing and did not reach their school in Sehna village of Gulliana police precincts on Tuesday morning.

Family and police sources said girls Esha and Hajara had actually bunked off school over the fear of class-IX annual exams.

A spokesman told Dawn that police had received a complaint that two students of government girls schools Sehna had gone missing after which a case was lodge d under section 365B of PPC on the report of Shamirullah, the brother of one of the girls.

He said police launched an investigation and finally recovered them from a seminary with the help of Faisalabad police and handed them over to the heirs.

Initial investigation said the girls had first gone to Lahore from where they went to Faisalabad and reached a seminary where they sought refuge.
