PESHAWAR: The Information Technology Staff Association (ITSA), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has demanded of the provincial government to approve professional allowance for the computer operators of the information technology cadre on the pattern of other departments.
Speaking at a press conference in Peshawar Press Club on Wednesday, the association president Qaiser Khan said that the computer operators in other departments were getting the professional allowance, but the employees of IT department were yet to get the same.
He said that the information technology allowance for IT cadre was approved by the provincial government in 2021, but unfortunately the computer operators were not included in it though IT cadre started from grade-16.
