MANSEHRA: Four members of a family were among five people killed and an infant was injured when a vehicle they were boarding plunged into a deep ravine in Kingbori area of Battagram district on Wednesday.
The car was on its way to Kohistan from Battagram when the driver lost control over the steering while negotiating a sharp turn, plunging the vehicle into a deep gorge.
Following the accident, local people and police rushed to the scene and shifted the bodies to the district headquarters hospital in Battagram.
The dead were identified as Yasmin Bibi, her son Abdullah Imran, Nazmeen Bibi, Mohammad Naeer and driver Mohammad Wazir.
A two-year-old boy, whose name could not be identified, was seriously injured in the accident.
The Changal police after registering FIR began investigation to ascertain the cause of the incident. Correspondent
