MIRPURKHAS: Adviser to the Chief Minister on Culture Sharmila Farooqi has said that the culture complex being built in the city at an estimated cost of Rs153 million will provide great cultural, educational and recreational facilities to the people of Mirpurkhas.

Speaking to the media during her visit to the site on Thursday, she said Rs74 million had already been spent on the project.

The complex would have a library and a museum, she said, adding that the construction work at the site of the museum was in full swing.

She said that the auditorium at the complex was near completion, and hoped that it would be opened to the general public on the upcoming Eid.
