LAHORE: Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) Chairperson Dr Shahid Munir says Pakistani universities are making progress in the QS and Times Higher Education rankings over the past three years, achieving competitive positions among the world`s best institutions.

He was addressing the World University Ranking Award ceremony at the University of Lahore on Thursday.

QS Ranking Regional Manager Rami Aud was the guest of honour in the ceremony while other attendees included UoL Board of Governors Deputy Chairman Uzair Rauf, Rector Prof Dr Muhammad Ashraf, King Edward Medical University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mahmood Ayaz and faculty members from over 30 universities.
