KARACHI: The keel-laying ceremony of Fast Attack Craft (Missile) being built for Pakist an Navy at the Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works (KSEW) was held on Tuesday.
Vice Admiral Hasham Bin Siddique, Vice Chief of Naval Staff, was the chief guest.Commmander Pakistan Fleet Vice Admiral Z.M. Abbasi and Commander Karachi Vice Admiral Arifullah Hussaini also attended the ceremony.
Fast Attack Craf t (Missile) is a modern, multi-mission vessel. It has length and breadth of 63 & 8.8 metres, respectively, a speedof 30 knots and range of 1,000 nautical miles. The ship is equipped with indigenous weapons and sensors.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest appreciated the timely achievement of an important construction milestone of this vessel.-Staff Reporter
