GUJRAT: The Jhelum district government has decided to make a documentary on Rohtas Fort to attract tourists and inform young people about the monument.

There is a plan to approach local historians for authentic information about the fort. The decision was taken at a meeting participated in by senior officials of the Jhelum government.

The historic Rohtas Fort has fallen a victim of neglect as encroachers have found safe haven within its premises.Besidesresidentialcolonies,people have keptcattle in the fort. The provincial government had recently launched a project ofrestoration of thefort according to which the encroachments and residential colonies would be razed.Correspondent
