GHALANAI: Three children, including two brothers, drowned in a pond outside their house in Safi tehsil of Mohmand Agency on Tuesday.

APA Ghalanai Zeeshan Abdullah told Dawn that the incident occurred in Chenagai area when the children were taking a dip in the pond. Local divers fished out the bodies from the pond.

A local, Lal Rehman, told Dawn on phone that two of the victims were brothers. They were identified as sons of Nasir Khan. The ages of the victims were between six and nine years.
