KARACHI: Two young men were found shot dead behind a gate of the Mauripur Truck Stand on Thursday, according to police.
“From their appearance, they looked Baloch,” said a senior medico-legal officer at the Civil Hospital Karachi while speaking to Dawn. He said the men had been killed two to three days before their bodies were spotted and brought to the hospital.
One of them was sprayed with bullets, as his body sustained a dozen gunshot wounds while the other received a single bullet in his chest, said senior MLO Dr Qarar Ahmed Abbasi.
The police said the bodies of the unidentified men, aged between 25 and 30 years, were recovered from the storm-water drain behind gate-1 of the truck stand. One of the victims wore black salwar kameez, while the other was clad in khaki pants with chequered shirt, said an investigation officer of the Mauripur police station.
