JERUSALEM: Jamal Bey Husseini, Deputy Chairman of the Arab Executive, said that a delegation of Palestine Arabs may agree to come to London for Palestine talks after all, says APA.
Following a second conference in three days, with General Sir Alan Cunningham, the Palestine High Commissioner, Jamal said, extended a second invitation. This time, he said, Sir Alan added that the proposed talk would not be restricted to discussion of a Federal Scheme, but would be open to any suggestions the Arabs wished to make.
The Deputy Chairman said that he had not accepted this invitation to iron out the issue of the future of Palestine, but had reserved decision, pending a conference with other members of the Arab Executive. ... Jamal turned down the previous invitation to confer in London, saying that the Arabs were not interested in talking over any plan based on the Anglo-American scheme for Federalisation of Palestine.
