The Sindh government has issued a circular regarding shortage of staff in the Health Department and intends to deploy the staff of the Education Department on vaccine administration duty. It seems like the government has no concern for the state of education or for the students who are unable to attend physicalclassesfor over a year. The government should open the schools on a priority basis, and volunteers should be appointed for the purpose of vaccine administration rather than involving the teaching staff.
