PHC CJ stresses bench-bar coordination

PESHAWAR: The Chief Justice of Peshawar High Court Justice Yahya Afridi stressed on Monday effective coordination between bench and bar for efficient administration of justice.

The chief justice visited the district judiciary to meet judges and lawyers. He also paid visit to the District Bar Room where he was received by the president of district bar association Fazal Wahid and his cabinet.

The bar president thanked the PHC for addressing the previous demands and highlighted additional requirements of the district bar. Justice Afridi assured of facilitating the bar and litigants.

He said as per policy Peshawar would get all the benefits.

The chief justice stated that he believed in common wisdom of bench and bar and effective coordination between the two.

He also reviewed the progress of automation process at the district courts and directed to expedite the process to facilitate the general public. He directed the judicial officers to do judicial work with utmost dedication and commitment. He added that integrity must not be compromised at any cost.—Bureau Report
