KARACHI: A young man was shot dead and his brother wounded in Pak Colony in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Pak Colony SHO Shah Jehan Lashari said that Sherbaz Murad, 30, and his brother, Owais were attacked by suspects in Old Golimar. The incident occurred at 3am.

Sherbaz sustained critical bullet wounds on his chest and was taken to the Civil Hospital Karachi, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Owais, who sustained wounds on his hand, was admitted for treatment.

The officer claimed that the murder appeared to be an outcome of some personal enmity as it was followed after exchange of hot words between the victim and the suspects.
