RAWALPINDI: COAS, General Raheel Sharif met the Pakistan Army team which recently returned after participating and winning Gold Medalin `Exercise Cambrian Patrol` held in the UK from October 15 to 25.
He praised the team for their commendable achievement in winning the coveted trophy and keeping Pakistan`s flag high. A total of 120 teams, including India, participated in the event known as one of the toughest field exercise for any military.
Cambrian Patrol is a physically challenging, arduous exercise which concentrates on team work for achieving the mission. The exercise was carried out in Wales, UK, across jungles, water obstacles and mountains testing leadership, self-discipline, courage and determination of the participants.
The team was led by Captain Tauseef and clinched gold medal.
