RESIDENTS of Islamabad are faced with a new nuisance. The city, which is known for its quiet environment, is now being polluted through use of mobile loudspeakers.
There has been a mushroom growth of vendors and others who roam the whole day in every street with mini-loudspeakers on their bikes. They either sell goods or offer repair services or seek contributions to certain religious or social welf are institutions. The menace is destroying the citizens` peace. This should stop.
