KARACHI: Pakistan`s University of Karachi went down fighting to South Africa`s University of Pretoria in the final of the Red Bull Campus Cricket Trophy in a thrilling match to earn second place in the Red Bull Campus Cricket Tournament.

Pushing Pakistan from the start, Muhammad Asad dominated the bowling attack, by picking Jiveshen Pilley and Francios Van Heerden`s wicket in the first over, but couldn`t win the game. Prior to this, Pakistan had beaten India, making it to the semi-final and then outclassed Sri Lanka to make it to the final.-Agencies
