LAHORE: Punjab Assembly Speaker Pervaiz Elahi has stressed the need for formulating a mutual strategy with Britain for overcoming environmental and coping with climate changes.

He was talking to political consular in the British High Commission Ms.

Iona Thomas who calledon him and MNA Moonis Elahi at their residence here on Wednesday.

During the meeting, there was consensus on further improving peoples` contacts campaign for promotion of bilateral relations.

Mr Elahi said the Punjab government could work with British institution DFID and other donor agencies for tackling environmental and climate changes.
