PESHAWAR: A four-day annual chrysanthemum (Gul-i-Dawoodi) exhibition opens today (Monday) at Islamia College University.

The first day is devoted to general visitors, a statement issued here on Sunday said.

On the second and third day, students and faculty of Islamia Collegiate School and Islamia College for Girls & Women would show up, while the fourth day of the event is dedicated for the senior alumni.

The exhibition has been held every year on the beautiful lawns of the historic institution for the last over three decades. This year`s exhibition is different compared to previous years as the organisers, florists, faculty members and security staffers have committed to entertaining the visiting guests.

The statement said that stalls showcasing several varieties of chrysanthemum would be on display with precautions to visitors to have view of the grand flower-show with great care and regard.
