KARACHI: Dr Mahmud Husain, Deputy Foreign Minister, said in Parliament yesterday [Jan 12] that the Pakistan Government have taken a serious view of the threats made at the All-India Hindu Mahasabha meeting held in Calcutta in December last year.

He added that the Pakistan Government have asked the Government of India to take appropriate action against the organisation as it had been decided in the inter-Dominion agreement that `any propaganda for the amalgamation of Pakistan and India or of portions thereof, including East Pakistan ...

shall be discouraged.

Afghanistan was also charged of violating the `gentleman`s agreement` to refrain from propaganda against Pakistan ... . .
