RAWALPINDI: The city traffic police licensing branch has started issuing driving licenses round the clock seven days a week.

Spokesman for the city traffic police said driving tests are being conducted even on Sunday while 15 additional officials including two in-charges have also been appointed in traffic headquarters and other service centers to provide immediate and timely facilities to the citizens who are coming to get driving licences.

During the response time and driving test of the personnel posted at the Licensing Centre and all the processes are being monitored through cameras, while online sign test and driving test video automated system is used to ensure merit and transparency in obtaining driving licences.
