SAHlWAL: Regional Anti-Terrorism Court judge Ziaullah Khan handed down 31-year rigorous imprisonment to Gul Azam, a terrorist belonging to a banned outfit.

Gul Azam was captured in an intelligencebased operation jointly conducted by the Counter Terrorism Department and law enforcement agencies in Karmawala farm, Arifwala Road, Pakpattan, on March 12, 2024.

At that time CTD personnel recovered explosive material, dry batteries, electronic devices and circuits, detonators, prima cards and iron box.

Later, he was booked in a case (04/24) Under Section 4 & 5 of Explosive Substance Act-1908 and Section 7 of Anti-Terrorist Act-1997 on the compliant of Muhammad Anees, Inspector, CTD, Sahiwal.

Gula Azam is a permanent resident of Landi Kotal, Khyber Agency in KP, having important position within the banned outfit.
