Terrorists blow up house of PAF official in Lakki

LAKKI MARWAT: Terrorists blew up the house of a Pakistan Air Force official in Miralam Manjiwala area here on Tuesday night.

A police official confirmed the incident, saying that a group of terrorists came to the rural locality, planted an improvised explosive device inside the abandoned house and destroyed it with an explosion.

He said that the house was owned by Taimur Khan, an Air Force employee, and that the family had `abandoned` it.

`The blast damaged at least three rooms and the boundary wall of the house,` he said. He added that the militants also set the cattle pen on fire alongside the house and damaged the solar system.

The official said police launched an investigation into the incident after registration of a case against unknown miscreants.

Meanwhile, two people were killed and one was injured when rivals attacked them over a children`s quarrelin Gudikhel area of Karak district.

The police said the double murder occurred in the limits of Shah Slaim police station.

They said the bodies and the injured were taken to a hospital in Takht Nusrati town.
