KARACHI: The Sindh government has appointed Alamdin Bollu, awaiting posting, as senior member of the Board of Revenue and Relief Commissioner in place of Fazlur Rehman, who has been relieved of his charge.

Meanwhile, rehabilitation secretary Roshan Ali Shaikh has written a letter to all districts in the desert area to cancel leaves of their staff and activate teams to asses and monitor the effects of the drought. Mr Shaikh said the deputy commissioner of Sanghar had mentioned his seven Dehs as calamity-hit areas.-Staff Reporter
