Seminar for professional engineers

PESHAWAR: The CECOS University, Peshawar, in collaboration with the Pakistan Engineering Council held a seminar on continuing professional development programme (CPD) for engineers here on Wednesday.

PEC additional registrar Dr Ashfaq Ahmad Sheikh gave a comprehensive presentation on various aspects of continuing CPD for engineers.

He explained the steps involved in the process of registration of an engineer, a professional engineer and an international professional engineer.

At least 100 engineers from across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa attended the seminar, according to a press release issued here.

Speaking on the occasion, CECOS University vice chancellor Professor Riaz A Khattak lauded the role of PEC in maintaining the quality of engineering education in public and private sector universities and ensuring the implementation of relevant laws.
