LAHORE: A minor girl was hospitalised after a kite string cut her throat at a flyover in Mughalpura late on Sunday.

Fahim along with his wife and two-year-old daughter Malaika was on his way to a market by a bike. When he was crossing the flyover, the string of a stray kite fell on his daughter, leaving a deep cut on her throat.

Fahim lost his control on the bike in a bid to save her daughter which later collided with a footpath, leaving him injured too.

A police official said both were rushed to hospital. The girl was shifted to Intensive Care Unit due to her critical condition. Fahim was discharged after treatment.
