NAROWAL: A man killed his brother with a sharp instrument in Siallcot`s Sambrial area on Sunday.

Razia Sultana told police that her elder son, Muhammad Sohail Abbas, used to abuse her when she did not give him money.

Her younger son, Muhammad Usman, forbade Sohail from misbehaving. On Sunday, Sohail A injured Usman with a sharp knife and fled.

The family shifted him to the Samrial THQ hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The police registered an FIR against Sohail Abbas under Section 302 of the Pakistan Penal Code and, after an autopsy, handed over the body to the family for burial.

She said Sohail would buy kitchen items from nearby shops and the shoplceepers were demanding money from him. She said that Sohail asked her for money, and got rude when she refused. Later, this led to an altercation between the two brothers.
