TOBA TEK SINGH: Three members of a family, including a woman and her two children, died when the roof of a room of their house caved in at the Chal< 134-GB, tehsil Samundri, on Sunday.

A Tirkhani police official said Ghazala Bibi (39), her daughter Hira (14) and son Ghulam Fareed (6) were asleep in the room at 4am when its roof fell on them. The neighbours removed the debris to get them out but they had already expired by them.

SUICIDE: A boy allegedly committed suicide in the Islampura locality of Kamalia.

Muhammad Farooq (17), the son of Akbar Ali, had quarreled with his parents over money. He locked himself in a room of the house and shot himself dead with the pistol of his father.

In another incident, asecurity guard allegedly shot himself dead at a filling station in the wee hours on Sunday in the Nishatabad area on the Sargodha Road, Faisalabad.

Rescue 1122 said Ghulam Mustafa of Chal< 505-GB, Tandlianwala, had received a bullet injury in his chest. His colleagues claimed he had committed suicide.

Police shifted the body to Allied Hospital for autopsy and arrested an employee and owner of the filling station for investigation.

ACCIDENT: A cyclist died while two motorcyclists were injured when a truck hit them near Bolay Di Jhuggi, Sheikhupura Road, Faisalabad.

Rescue 1122 identified the deceased cyclist as Muhammad Khan (40).

Both the motorcycle riders, Ahmad Afzal (19) and Akhtar Rasool (45) received injuries and they were shifted to Allied Hospital.
